Outline Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu 1,310m welcome by Himalayan Nepal Trek and transfer to Hotel

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu  valley, Patan,  Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath stay at hotel

Day 03: Drive to Shivalay (1,790m) 7-8hrs stay at Lodge

Day 04: Trek to Bhandar (2,200m) 5-6hrs stay at Lodge

Day 05: Trek to Namkheli (2,300m) 6hrs stay at Lodge

Day 06: Trek to Ngomar Gumpa (2,800m) 6-7hrs stay at Lodge

Day 07: Trek to Pikey Dada (4,070m) 4-5 hrs stay at tent

Day 08: Trek to Pikey Hill and Trek to Junbesi (2,675m) stay at Lodge

Day 09: Trek to Thutungchheli Monastery (3,050m) trek back to Junbesi (2,700m) 5-6hrs stay at Lodge

Day 10: Trek to Phaplu 2400m

Day 11: Fly back to Kathmandu. Farewell dinner & stay at hotel

Day 12: Departure from Kathmandu to your onward destination. 

Day 01: Arrive in TIA, Kathmandu (1,310m)

As you land on Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, you will be received by the representative of Himalayan Nepal Trek. Then, afterward, you will be transferred to hotel where you will learn the detailed itinerary. And evening farewell dinner and typical Nepali culture dance. Stay overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu

Setting a practical itinerary today you will see the sights in Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath, and Boudhanath. These are the historical places which are listed in World Heritage Sites. You will have a glorious day today accomplishing the ancient art and architecture.  Stay overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Drive to Shivalaya (1,790m) 7-8hrs

on the following day, you will drive to Shivalaya 1,790 meter and it consumes 7 to 8hrs of the extensive drive. After completing the drive to Shivalaya you will check in the lodge and enjoy the riverside area with a suspension bridge.

Day 04: Trek to Bhandar (2,200m) 5-6hrs

Shivayala to Bhandar through Bharkaur, Mani Danda which is situated at an elevation of 2,440m. We trek all the way up to Deurali for 3hrs. Deurali is such a wonderful place to see beautiful hills around the valley. We walk all the way down to Bhandar. Stay overnight in Bhandar.

Day 05: Trek to Namkheli (2,300m) 6hrs

taking the slightly upward inclined route towards Namkheli 2,300 meter takes us through the river and it takes 6 hours to get there at Namkheli. Here, you can check Bhandar and Thotung domestic airport around in the valley.

Day 06: Trek to Ngomar Gumpa (2,800m) 6-7hrs

on the next day, Namkheli will take you to culturally prosperous Ngomar Gumpa, at an elevation of 2,800m. Trek for 6 to 7 hours, some break time with some cool breeze from the river will help you to arrive beautiful Ngomar Gumpa.

Day 07: Trek to Pikey Dada (4,070m) 4-5 hrs

Trek to Pikey Dada which is situated at an elevation of 4,070m within 4 to 5 hours of trek.Pikey Dada is also considered as Pikey base camp. You will get an attention grabbing mountains which can be seen from Pikey Peak and then downward to Jhapre.
Day 08: Trek to Pikey Hill and Trek to Junbesi (2,675m)
Spending a day at Pikey Dada will already help to draw the picture of Pikey Hill so now you can ascend the peak and during the climb, you will generate the delightful vistas of mountain peak along with sunrise. The mountains like Kanchenjunga to Dhaulagiri counting Everest can be outlook from here. Afterward, you will again trek to Junbesi 2,675 meter.

Day 09: Trek to Thutungchheli Monastery (3,050m) trek back to Junbesi (2,700m) 5-6hrs

waking up early in the morning you will begin trekking in Thutungchheli Monastery 3,050 meter. This monastery is renowned as little Tibet where you can see the traditional Tibetan medical Therapy and Tibetan culture mixed up with Buddhist Sherpa culture, Back to Junbesi (2,700m). Stay overnight in Junbesi.

Day 10: Trek to Phaplu (24,13m)

We start our trek towards Phaplu through wonderful river side walk. Trek to Phaplu takes you all the way through beautiful forest, multi cultural village especially Buddhist practice. We ascend about forty-five minutes inclined trail to reach small town Phaplu.  

Day 11: Drive/ Flight to Kathmandu and farewell dinner

on the following day, you will take a drive or flight to Kathmandu after enjoying the trip. Either you take a drive for 7hrs or Fly 40minutes to Kathmandu both means will give you an incredible view of beautiful hills and mountains. Farewell dinner with our staffs overnight at Hotel.

Day 12: Departure

You will be accompanied by our representative to the airport.

AIRPORT PICKUP AND DROP

The representative will be there outside the Terminal Hall with Himalayan Nepal Trek logo along with your name thereon. You’ll then be transferred to your hotel.

TRANSPORTATION

We use a mix of native buses and taxis, non-public mini buses for city sightseeing and airport pickups and generally land cruisers for journeys into the mountains. The selection of auto will depend upon the scale of your group.

ACCOMMODATION

We book a hotel as per your preference but basically, we use 3* standard rooms in Kathmandu and Pokhara. We serve you twin sharing rooms and King bed for a couple. We use Lodges throughout the trek with twin bed room and sharing. 

SAFETY

Safety is our first priority; our team puts best effort to minimize the risk. We take care of any emergency that may occur within the path. First aid kit, oxygen bag and eventually emergency rescue via chopper are always ready just in case of an emergency. Besides we manage threat with rest days and our staffs will be there to advise you.

EQUIPMENT

Weather condition may invite the requirement of some equipment like crampons, trekking poles, raincoat etc. So, we tend to request you to carry only need types of equipment. Down jacket, trouser Ti-shirt, boot, knife, walking steak, lightweight bag, sunglass, gloves, suns cream, warm socks, head light, wind proof jacket etc.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Common to experience some discomfort before you become absolutely acclimatized to the altitude. Most treks are suitable for anyone who is moderately matched. No previous experience is needed. Some cardiovascular physical fitness programs like regular walking, running, swimming and hiking are necessary to increase the performance. Participants with pre-existing medical condition or diseases should look for a medical recommendation before considering a trek.

CHARGING BATTERY

Electricity will not always be available, particularly in additional remote areas. Carry a second set of charged batteries with you.

COMMUNICATION FACILITIES

During the trek, it’s not possible to get a connection every where but there are certain places throughout the trek wherever you get the surplus over internet and telecommunication. We offer you satellite phone as per your preference. You can use our guide cell phone to communicate if you don't have your own number, they welcome you anytime.

You can rely on credit cards in Cities however once we tend to begin trek we solely use the cash. Ensure that you just take spare Nepalese rupees. Dollars, Euros, and Pounds will be accepted.

Visa fees are:

US$ 25/40/100 for 15 days/30 days/90 days multiple entries that are collectible solely in USD money. The maximum number of days should be included in the section about extending a trek.

Our company ensures all of our trekking staff: Guides, Cooks, Sherpa’s and Porters. 

PORTER SERVICE

15kg of baggage per person and porter carries 30Kg. you need to carry a small day bag with personal belongings, camera, water, windproof jacket, glass and sun cream and rain clothing etc.

WEATHER

We cannot predict the atmospheric condition in the Himalayas, weather pattern keeps on changing through the day. Nights are very cold and days are higher primarily trekking in Nepal we tend to recommend during March-May and September- Gregorian calendar month.
