Naya Kanga Peak ( Ganjou La Chuli)  5,844m lies in the north from Kathmandu head of Helambu region, south east from Langtang Himal. Naya Kanga is wonderfully placed in the rarely visited Langtang region of Nepal. Naya Kanga rises to the west of Ganja La 5122m and is a popular but difficult mountain to climb. Ascent to the peak shows us the great mountains of Nepal and Tibet like mighty Shishapangma 8,027m Lantang Lirung 7,246m, Lenpo Gang 7,083m, Dorje Lakpa 6,990m and others.

After we separate from Ganja La trail to climb sharply up to irregular mass glacial drift to make the eastern end of the glacier layer beneath the north - east face of Naya Kanga and set high camp for the next ascent. We will pass through the glacier layer of the north ridge then turn to the ice nose on the left, technical division on the climb and the fold widens and direct to a small col on the east - west summit ridge and the summit is only 30m. To climb near the summit should have to do accurately and it gonna take around 5 - 7 hours from its high camp.The regular route to this peak follows the snowy

Day 01: Arrive in TIA, Kathmandu (1,310m) welcome by Himalayan Nepal Trek transfer to hotel briefing stay at a hotel on BB plan.

Day 02: Preparation day for the trip, check gears by mountaineering guide and stay at star label hotel on BB plan.

Day 03: Drive to Shyabrubesi (1,462m)5/6 hrs stay overnight at lodge.

Day 04: Trek to Lama hotel(2340m) 5/6 hrs overnight at lodge.

Day 05: Trek to Langtang village(3500m) 4/6 hrs overnight at lodge.

Day 06: Trek to  Kyanjin Gompa( 3800m) 3/4  hrs overnight at lodge.

Day 07: Kyanjing Gompa rest/acclimatization day visit around the Kyanjing village.

Day 08: Trek to Naya Khanga Bese camp( 4400m) 5/6 hrs stay overnight at camping.

Day 09: Trek to Naya khanga High camp( 5000m) stay overnight at camping.

Day 10: Naya Kanga summit day (5844m) 7/8 hrs and back to Base camp, overnight at camping.

Day 11: Trek to Yangri Kharka through Ganjala pass overnight at camping.

Day 12: Trek to Keldang Kharka( 4420m) 5/6 hrs stay overnight at camping.

Day 13: Trek to Tarkeghyang( 2700m) 5/6 hrs stay overnight at camping.

Day 14: Trek to Thimbu Khola stay overnight at Lodge

Day 15: Drive back to Kathmandu transfer to hotel overnight at star label  hotel on BB plan

Day 16: Kathmandu valley Sightseeing visit to historic places Patan, Pasupatinath, Bauddhanath, Sayambunath stay at hotel on BB plan.

Day 17: Transfer to International airport departure to home.

AIRPORT PICKUP AND DROP

The representative will be there outside the Terminal Hall with Himalayan Nepal Trek logo along with your name thereon. You’ll then be transferred to your hotel.

TRANSPORTATION

We use a mix of native buses and taxis, non-public mini buses for city sightseeing and airport pickups and generally land cruisers for journeys into the mountains. The selection of auto will depend upon the scale of your group.

ACCOMMODATION

We book a hotel as per your preference but basically, we use 3* standard rooms in Kathmandu and Pokhara. We serve you twin sharing rooms and King bed for a couple. We use Lodges throughout the trek with twin bed room and sharing. 

SAFETY

Safety is our first priority; our team puts best effort to minimize the risk. We take care of any emergency that may occur within the path. First aid kit, oxygen bag and eventually emergency rescue via chopper are always ready just in case of an emergency. Besides we manage threat with rest days and our staffs will be there to advise you.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Common to experience some discomfort before you become absolutely acclimatized to the altitude. Most treks are suitable for anyone who is moderately matched. No previous experience is needed. Some cardiovascular physical fitness programs like regular walking, running, swimming and hiking are necessary to increase the performance. Participants with pre-existing medical condition or diseases should look for a medical recommendation before considering a trek.

FOOD DURING THE TREK

Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner each day, as per itinerary, is enclosed. Continental, Nepali and Sherpa food from the menu.

SHOWER IN TREK

Hot shower is available during the trek at your own expense about $5

CHARGING BATTERY

Electricity will not always be available, particularly in additional remote areas. Carry a second set of charged batteries with you.

COMMUNICATION FACILITIES

During the trek, it’s not possible to get a connection every where but there are certain places throughout the trek wherever you get the surplus over internet and telecommunication. We offer you satellite phone as per your preference. You can use our guide cell phone to communicate if you don't have your own number, they welcome you anytime. 

CREDIT CARDS

You can rely on credit cards in Cities however once we tend to begin trek we solely use the cash. Ensure that you just take spare Nepalese rupees. Dollars, Euros, and Pounds will be accepted.

ADDITIONAL CASH PER DAY

Visa fees are:

US$ 25/40/100 for 15 days/30 days/90 days multiple entries that are collectible solely in USD money. The maximum number of days should be included in the section about extending a trek. 

STAFFS INSURANCE

Our company ensures all of our trekking staff: Guides, Cooks, Sherpa’s and Porters. 

PORTER SERVICE

15kg of baggage per person and porter carries 30Kg. you need to carry a small day bag with personal belongings, camera, water, windproof jacket, glass and sun cream and rain clothing etc.

WEATHER

We cannot predict the atmospheric condition in the Himalayas, weather pattern keeps on changing through the day. Nights are very cold and days are higher primarily trekking in Nepal we tend to recommend during March-May and September- Gregorian calendar month.
