Mt.Cholatse (6440m) Peak: Nepal is the country, which is the best destination for all the lovers of the adventures, travelers and explorers being enriched in natural beauty and the affluence of the peaks, among them Mt.Cholatse Peak Climbing is rarely climbing peaks of the Everest region. It is also known as the “Jobo Lhaptshan” located in the Khumbu Himalayan region of Nepal.

Which was first climbed by Vern Clevenger, Galen Rowell, Bill O’Connor and John Roskelley through the southwest ridge on April 22/1982 AD. It is connected to Taboche (6,501m) by a long ridge & another hard and barley climb mountain among the other peaks. During your trip, you will find several unclimbed and difficult routes. However, it gives us an opportunity to discover new places, meet new people, and get to know their culture& life style. In addition, this summit offers us thrilling views of Himalayan Peaks like Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Lhotse Shar, Makalu, Ama Dablam, Thamserku etc. However, the climbers should have knowledge and ability in mountaineering.

As well as another main attraction of this summit is lake which lies below the pass where “Cho” refers to the lake, “La” refers to the Pass and ‘Tse”  refers peak in Tibetan and it makes up the Mt.Cholatse  peak So that it is, the combination of the three words “Lake Pass Peak”. From Dughla, we can be able to see the north and east faces of Cholatse, on the trail to Mt. Everest base camp. The north face of Chola was successfully scaled in 1984.
