Gosaikunda trek package is for those trekkers who want to experience Langtang region in brief. Langtang Gosaikunda Helambu Trek combines separate Langtang Trek, Gosaikunda Trek and Helambu Trek in a single package. Enjoy sightseeing in Kathmandu before driving to Syabrubesi. The scenic winding road with views of hills and terraces takes us through Trishuli River and Dhunche to Syabru Besi from where the trek continues. Move through the forest of bamboo and oaks and cross Lama Hotel to reach Langtang Valley, a best alluring valley in the world that had been described by the famous explorer- Bill Tilman. The valley is a homeland to the large settlement of Tamang ethics. Visit Kyangjen Gompa Monastery for observation of Buddhist architecture and climb the Tserko Ri Mountain and return to Lama Hotel. Langtang Gosaikunda and Helambu trekking route continue through Thulo Syabru and Sing Gompa to Gosainkunda. A great fair is organized each year in the full moon of August during that Buddhist, Shamans and Hindu pilgrims visit this lake for clean their sins. To climb the difficult Laurebuinayak Pass and get views of glaciated mountains like Langtang Lirung Mountain, Ganesh Mountain, Dorje Lakpa Mountain, Langshisa Ri peak, Yala peak and other peaks and mountains and descend through Ghopte to enter Helambu region. Visit the ancient Tarkegyang Monastery and have fun at sparkling Melamchi River before returning to Kathmandu. We organize Langtang Gosaikunda Helambu trekking throughout the year at special with our local trekker's guide and Sherpas at a reasonable cost.

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu 1,310m.Welcome Program by Himalayan Nepal Trek staff and direct transfer to Hotel in Kathmandu with Bed & Break plan.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Patan, Swayambhunath, Boudhanath etc stay at star label hotel on BB plan

Day 18: Departure from Kathmandu to your onward destination. 

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1310m), Transfer to Hotel

Once you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, you will proceed through custom and visa formalities and then a representative from Himalayan Nepal Trek Pvt. Ltd. will receive you. You will be transferred to the luxurious hotel in Kathmandu with Bed and Breakfast plan. You will get briefing regarding your trek package and then enjoy the delicious meal before spending your night in a hotel. 

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing

Early in the morning, meet with staffs and get a trip briefing from the guide. You will be provided with half day Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour during which you will visit UNESCO enlisted cultural heritage sites of Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, Boudhanath, and Pashupatinath. Drive to Bhaktapur Durbar Square and enjoy the views of 55- window palace, Golden Gate, Nyatapol Temple and Pottery Square and return to a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1450m) 6hrs

Leave Kathmandu and head north- west. Drive along Rani Ban (Queen Forest) and pursue the slithering road with views of forested hills, strawberry farms, and mountains. Stop by Trishuli Bazaar for lunch. Follow gravel road to Dhunche. Continue further to Syabrubesi for an overnight stay.

Day 04: Syabru Besi to Lama Hotel (2480m) 5hrs

Langtang Gosaikunda Helambu trek begins on the 4th day. Follow the descending trail from Syabrubesi and walk along moraines to Ghopche Khola. Cross the suspension bridge to reach landslide area. Walking cautiously from the area, head towards Rimche (2400m). Cross bamboo woods and arrive at Lama Hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 05: Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3541m) 5hrs

Cross the maples, pine, and rhododendron forest. Enjoy the bird view. Exiting from the forest, reach Gumanchok (2800m). Following the ascending trail, arrive at Ghora Tabela (2970m). Lower down to Thangshyap (3140m) and continue walking to Langtang Village. The Headquarter of Langtang National Park is located in Langtang village. Enjoy the view of Langtang Lirung Mountain.

Day 06: Langtang village to Kyanjing Gompa (3900m) 4hrs

A couple of hours of ascending from Langtang Valley will take us to Sindum and Yamphu villages. Walking past tiny Yamphu village, we will cross Laja River and climb the ridge. Enjoy scenic views of Kyanjin Gompa and icefall from Lirung and Kinshung and lower down to Kyanjin Gompa monastery (3900m).

Day 07: Trip to Tserkuri (4984m), Back to Kyangjing Gompa

A day of rest at Kyangjin Gompa is recommended before retracing the route back to Syabrubesi. You can visit a government operated cheese factory. Next alternative is to climb Tserkuri/ Tserko Ri. The scenic peak offers views of mountains from Tibet and Nepal.

Day 08: Kyangjin Gompa to Lama Hotel (2480m) 6hrs

Leave Kyangjin Gompa and take the descending trail to Langtang River. Cross the river and move through the scenic forest area to Langtang Village. Stay overnight in a lodge at Lama Hotel. 

Day 09: Lama Hotel to Thulo Syabru (2200m) 6hrs

After having breakfast early in the morning, we will pass through few Sherpa and Tamang villages and arrive at the small forested hill. Cross the hill and reach Thulo Syabru for an overnight stay.

Day 10: Thulo Syabru to Sing Gompa (3584m) 6hrs

Leave Thulo Syabru and pass along school to arrive at gompa. Walk through the forest of oak and fir to Sing Gompa. Explore Sing Gompa and observe its Tibetan influenced Buddhist idols and wall paintings. 

Day 11: Sing Gompa to Gosain Kunda (4381m) 6hrs

From Sing Gompa, follow the ascending trail to Chalang Pati. We can get an unobstructed view of Lirung Mountain from Chalang Pati. From Chalang Pati, reach Laurebina Pass/ Laurebinayak Pass. Cross Laurebinayak High Pass and move along Shakyamuni stupa to arrive at Saraswati Kunda. Move further to Gosainkunda.

Day 12: Gosainkunda via pass (4610m) to Ghopte (3440m) 6hrs

Explore around Gosainkunda Lake in the morning. Gosainkunda is the sacred lake which is said to be the living place of Lord Shiva. The area is the place of origin of Trishuli River. Walk through the northern shore of Gosainkunda Lake. As soon as you pass three smaller lakes, you will reach Laurebinayak. Lower down to Langtang National Park post that exists at Bhera Goth and reaches Phedi. Walking further, reach Ghopte for an overnight stay.

Day 13: Ghopte to Melamchigaun (2560m) 6hrs

After having breakfast early in the morning, leave Ghopte and descend through pine and oak forest to arrive at Tharepati village of mixed ethnic. Descend through rhododendron forest to reach Chhyadi River. Cross the river and make it to Melamchi Gaon for an overnight stay.

Day 14: Melamchigaun to Tarkegyang (2560m) 6hrs

Melamchi River is located just below the Melamchi Village. Lower down from the village to the river. Freshen up at the cool water of Melamchi. Climb from the river to Tarke Gyang meadow. Walk through the pasture land to Tarke Gyang Village. Visit 18th-century Tarkegyang Gompa.

Day 15: Tarkegyang to Sermathang (2621m) 6hrs

Leave Tarkegyang Village and move through Gangyul village to the forest. Lower down to the river and cross the river to arrive at Chumik. Move further from Chumik to Sermathang which is a large village of Sherpa ethnic. Get close-up views of Ganesh Mountain, Langtang, Rolwaling, Gosainkunda, Everest and other mountains.

Day 16: Sermathang to Melamchi Bazar (928m) 6hrs

Leave Sermathang and move through Nigale, Gyalsha and Raithani Gyang villages to make it to Dubha Chaur. Follow the lowering trail from Dubha Chaur to Melamchi Pul. Trek ends as we reach Melamchi Bazaar.

Day 17: Drive from Melamchi Bazar to Kathmandu, farewell dinner with Typical Nepali Culture in evening

Drive from Melamchi Bazaar to Kathmandu. It will take about 4hrs. You will be transferred to hotel. You can spend the day on your own. Go for shopping in Thamel or you can also choose any of the day tour packages. Farewell dinner will be served in the evening with typical Nepali culture.

Day 18: Departure

After last minute preparation, you will be accompanied to Tribhuvan International Airport 3hours before the scheduled flight. Safe Journey!!!

The representative will be there outside the Terminal Hall with Himalayan Nepal Trek logo along with your name thereon. You’ll then be transferred to your hotel.


We use a mix of native buses and taxis, non-public mini buses for city sightseeing and airport pickups and generally land cruisers for journeys into the mountains. The selection of auto will depend upon the scale of your group.


We book a hotel as per your preference but basically, we use 3* standard rooms in Kathmandu and Pokhara. We serve you twin sharing rooms and King bed for a couple. We use Lodges throughout the trek with twin bed room and sharing. 


Safety is our first priority; our team puts best effort to minimize the risk. We take care of any emergency that may occur within the path. First aid kit, oxygen bag and eventually emergency rescue via chopper are always ready just in case of an emergency. Besides we manage threat with rest days and our staffs will be there to advise you.


Weather condition may invite the requirement of some equipment like crampons, trekking poles, raincoat etc. So, we tend to request you to carry only need types of equipment. Down jacket, trouser Ti-shirt, boot, knife, walking steak, lightweight bag, sunglass, gloves, suns cream, warm socks, head light, wind proof jacket etc.


Common to experience some discomfort before you become absolutely acclimatized to the altitude. Most treks are suitable for anyone who is moderately matched. No previous experience is needed. Some cardiovascular physical fitness programs like regular walking, running, swimming and hiking are necessary to increase the performance. Participants with pre-existing medical condition or diseases should look for a medical recommendation before considering a trek.


Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner each day, as per itinerary, is enclosed. Continental, Nepali and Sherpa food from the menu.

Electricity will not always be available, particularly in additional remote areas. Carry a second set of charged batteries with you.


During the trek, it’s not possible to get a connection every where but there are certain places throughout the trek wherever you get the surplus over internet and telecommunication. We offer you satellite phone as per your preference. You can use our guide cell phone to communicate if you don't have your own number, they welcome you anytime. 


You can rely on credit cards in Cities however once we tend to begin trek we solely use the cash. Ensure that you just take spare Nepalese rupees. Dollars, Euros, and Pounds will be accepted.

Visa fees are:

US$ 25/40/100 for 15 days/30 days/90 days multiple entries that are collectible solely in USD money. The maximum number of days should be included in the section about extending a trek. 


Our company ensures all of our trekking staff: Guides, Cooks, Sherpa’s and Porters. 


15kg of baggage per person and porter carries 30Kg. you need to carry a small day bag with personal belongings, camera, water, windproof jacket, glass and sun cream and rain clothing etc.


We cannot predict the atmospheric condition in the Himalayas, weather pattern keeps on changing through the day.
