Kumbakarna Peak
Previously Named as Mount “janu” and official recent Name Kumbakarna is one of the dazzling peaks.This peak lies on the border of Nepal and India with high majority of Limbu people.the mystery behind the Name Kumbakarna is Sanskrit word, which means a Giant mount Kumbhakarna is located 11km west of Mount Kanchanjunja.With the height of (7710m) and (25295ft) lies in the east of kanchanjunga conservation area.
This trek provides you the opportunity to view Tea and cardamom farming in the lowest altitude.  While attempting This peak one should understand the risk of camping and climbing above the snowline pose. Mount kumbakarna is Difficult peak with a summit pyramid steep on all side. main summit of mount kumbhakarna is south East Ridge.
However, the experience of climbing is not necessary one should have good knowledge of Alpine Environment.

 Khumbakarna peak itinerary
Day 01: Arrive in TIA, Kathmandu (1,310m) welcome by Himalayan Nepal Trek transfer to hotel briefing stay at hotel on BB plan.
Day 02: Preparation day for the trip, check gears by mountaineering guide and stay at star label  hotel on BB plan.
Day 03: Flight from Katmandu to Suketar trek to Tambawa camp.
Day 04: Trek from Tambawa to Khesewa.
Day 05: Trek from Khesewa to Mamankhe.
Day 06: Trek from Mamakhe to Yamphudin 1670m.
Day 07: Trek from Yamphudin to Chittre (Omje Khola).
Day 08: Trek from Chittre to Torontan.
Day 09: Trek from Torontan to Tseram.
Day 10: Trek from Tseram to Ramze.
Day 11: Trek from Ramze to Kumbhakarna Base camp.
Day 12: Advance base camp.
Day13- 30: climbing period kumbakarnapeak 7710m
Day 31: Trek from Kumbhakarna Base Camp to Yellung.
Day 32: Trek from Yallung to Lamite Bhanjhyang.
Day 33: Trek from Lamite Bhanjyang to Yamphudin.
Day 34: Trek from Yamphudin to Phonpe Dhara.
Day 35: Trek from Phonpe Dhara to Khunjar.
Day 36: Trek from Khunjar to Suketar.
Day 37: Flight from Suketar to Biratnagar flight then Transfer to hotel.
Day 38: drive to Katmandu by bus, 17hrs, and stay at hotel on BB plan.
Day 39: Kathmandu free day for shopping and some places visiting with guide and stay at hotel on BB plan.
Day 40: Last minute, transfer to airport for your onward journey.
