Kongma Tse (Mehra Peak) 5849m

Kongma Tse peak is located Kongma-La over the Khumbu North Glacier, Lobuche Peak at the opposite side  & it acclaimed as a ‘Mehra Peak’ too. It is one of a few summits, which make up the long ridge of the south-west of Nuptse between Nuptse Glaciers & the Khumbu. During your trip, it offers us the enormous views of Nuptse's south face, north to the Pumori and the Lho La from the summit. The summit, which has hanging glacier with diamond, shaped that makes up the North face mountain. As well as you can be able to view the lakes from the east of the Kongma La, a small drops glacier descends from the summit between long rocky arms that make up the mountain’s south and South –East ridges. The edge of the glacier provides the normal route of ascent. As well as ‘Pokhalde Peak’ is another highlight of this trek. This offers us splendid views of the peak. The northwards views towards Pumari and the Lho La are amazing.
