In the comparison list of highest mountain in globe, Kanchenjunga has been listed in third position with height of 8586 meter. It is located in border of Nepal and Sikkim, this mountain get popularity during the early period of Himalayan discovery because of its nearness to the old hill station of Darjeeling.
