Day 01: Arrive in TIA, Kathmandu

As you land on Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, you will be received by the representative staff from Himalayan Nepal Trek with a proper greeting. Then, afterward, you will be transferred to hotel where you will learn the detailed itinerary. We can change the set itinerary as per your feasibility. Stay overnight in hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu

On the second day, you will move to know the Kathmandu valley through the mode of sightseeing after breakfast. As a part of seeing the sight, you will visit in Pashupatinath and Boudhanath which are listed in the World Heritage Sites. Pashupatinath is the symbol of Hinduism where as Boudhanath represents the Buddhism even though people visit each other with great respect. Then, you will return to the hotel. Day 03: Flight to Biratnagar

Checking all the necessary equipment and preparing well today you will be dropped to TIA, Kathmandu from where you will catch the flight to Biratnagar taking 35 minutes. Landing at the airport you will check in the hotel where you will spend the night. Then, taking lunch you will set out for some sightseeing in the evening or can move out to visit the town. Day 04: Drive to Taplejung (2,420m) 8-9 hrs

From Biratnagar in an early morning, you will take a drive to Taplejung which is situated at an elevation of 2,420 meters. Taplejung is a beautiful place with cheerful people. You will feel great as soon as you inward in Taplejung taking 8 to 9 hours of extensive drive. Reaching in Taplenjung you will get to capture the Mount Kanchenjunga. Day 05: Trek to Thembewa (1,880m) 5 hrs

On the following day, you will take the downward movement to Thembewa and it is situated at an elevation of 1,880 meters. Taking 5 hours you will turn up to Thembewa and you will encounter nice settlement of village. You will get to visit the prosperous village and their way of living. Stay overnight in the lodge.

Day 06: Trek to Kesewa (1,960m) 6-7 hrs

Taking short ascends from Thembewa you will move to Kesewa with an altitude of 1,960 meters and it consumes 6 to 7 hours of duration. Arriving in Kesewa you will take some rest and explore the nearby surrounding. Stay overnight in a lodge.

Day 07: Trek to Phumpe Dada (1,860m) 6 hrs

Day 08: Trek to Sherpa Gaun (1,740m) 6-7 hrs

Day 09: Trek to Torongten via Lashetham (3,646m) and descend to Torongten (2,980m) 8-9 hrs

Heading ahead from Sherpa Gaun after knowing lots of things about Sherpa today you will start to trek Torongten via Lashetham found at an altitude of 3,646 meters. From there you will again start to trek Torongten taking progressively downward movement. Even today you will walk for 8 to 9 hours of extensive walk and you might feel tired at the end of a trek but you will be glad that you have accomplished the trek on time. Day 10: Trek to Tseram (3,868m) 5 hrs

Day 13: Trek via Sinelapche Bhanjyang (5,181m) and Mirgin La (4,645m) and trek down to Selele Base Camp (4,200m) 6-7 hrs

On the next day, you will trek via Sinelapche Bhanjyang which is positioned at 5,181 meters and then trek back to Mirgin La at 4,645 meters. Accomplishing the trek you will again trek down to Sele Base Camp and you need to cover the altitude of 4,200 meters. Day 14: Trek to Ghunsa (3,415m) 4 hrs

Day 15: Rest day

Day 16: Trek to Khambachen (4,145m) 5-6 hrs

On the following day, you will start again the trek heading towards Kambachen (4,145m) from Ghunsa. It regularly takes nearly 5 to 6 hours. Kambachen is the dense settlement of people who follow Tibetan culture. You will be fascinated with the fine art and architecture of Kambachen which bring positive vibes from Tibetan cultures. Day 17: Trek to Lhonak (4,792m) 4 hrs

On the following day, you will prepare to trek Lhonak (4,792m) which is a suitable destination to trek as it is positioned next to dry lake appearing like a bed with wide open, clean sand. You will be fond of the wonderful mountains from every prospect. Stay overnight in tented camp.

Day 18: Trek to Kanchenjunga Base Camp (5,140m) 5 hrs

Day 22: Trek to Tapethok (1,322m) 6-7 hrs

Day 26: Departure!!!!

AIRPORT PICKUP AND DROP

The representative will be there outside the Terminal Hall with Himalayan Nepal Trek logo along with your name thereon. You’ll then be transferred to your hotel.

TRANSPORTATION

We use a mix of native buses and taxis, non-public mini buses for city sightseeing and airport pickups and generally land cruisers for journeys into the mountains. The selection of auto will depend upon the scale of your group.

ACCOMMODATION

We book a hotel as per your preference but basically, we use 3* standard rooms in Kathmandu and Pokhara. We serve you twin sharing rooms and King bed for a couple. We use Lodges throughout the trek with twin bed room and sharing. 

SAFETY

Safety is our first priority; our team puts best effort to minimize the risk. We take care of any emergency that may occur within the path. First aid kit, oxygen bag and eventually emergency rescue via chopper are always ready just in case of an emergency. Besides we manage threat with rest days and our staffs will be there to advise you.

EQUIPMENT

Weather condition may invite the requirement of some equipment like crampons, trekking poles, raincoat etc. So, we tend to request you to carry only need types of equipment. Down jacket, trouser Ti-shirt, boot, knife, walking steak, lightweight bag, sunglass, gloves, suns cream, warm socks, head light, wind proof jacket etc.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Common to experience some discomfort before you become absolutely acclimatized to the altitude. Most treks are suitable for anyone who is moderately matched. No previous experience is needed. Some cardiovascular physical fitness programs like regular walking, running, swimming and hiking are necessary to increase the performance. Participants with pre-existing medical condition or diseases should look for a medical recommendation before considering a trek.
