Kaligandaki River is another holy mountain of Nepal. Rafting includes 3 of 14 highest mountains over 8,000m, Dhaulagiri I, Manaslu and Annapurna I. Dhaulagiri I is the highest spot of the Gandaki basin. 55km of Kali Gandaki River rafting takes 3 days. Kali Gandaki River Rafting follows over demanding white water, unique landscape, waterfall and amazing vegetation. The best season to raft is in September – December, January – May, and June – August.
Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu and Welcome program by Himalayan Nepal Treks members and direct transfer to Hotel on B&B plan.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley (Patan, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath,swayambhunath,) etc
Day 03: Drive 6/7 Hours or flight to Pokhara 35 minutes and overnight at star label hotel on BB plan.
Day 04: Early morning drive to starting point Maldhunga 2 hours, then we arrive in starting point our guide explain about drifting and safety talk, (paddling, river command) and other information about the river, lunch then we start drafting. We make 3 hours rafting and camping in Modi Beni, This day we pass major rapid like little brother (4+) big brother (4) cave, daze, and dam etc.
Day 05: This day we start rafting after breakfast. In this day we are going to make full day paddling between this times we have a break for lunch. We are going to do the same thing as the first day when we arrive in camping side. This day we pass water falls, cobra and double bend, brain den fall Rapids.
Day 06: 3 hours after we arrive at our takeout point at the dam (Miami), then we provide you lunch, we pack our river equipment, after 4 hours drive we arrive Pokhara and drive or fly back to Kathmandu.
Day 07: Free day in Kathmandu valley, evening farewell dinner in Typical Nepali Style restaurant.
Day 08: Departure from Kathmandu to your onward destination.
