Helambu is the nearest trekking region from Kathmandu that can be easily accessed from Sundarijal. Himalayan Nepal Trek offers exciting 13-days Helambu Valley trekking itinerary. Get close to the wilderness and get the feel of rustic places and unique culture. Drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal and traverse the rhododendron forest. Walk along Hydropower to Chisapani which is the best view point for observing Manaslu, Everest, Langtang, Ganesh and other snow-clad mountains. Walk through Kutumsang to Tharepati village and descend to Melamchi Village. Helambu Valley trek route escalates to Tarkegyang which is the largest village in Helambu Valley. Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival TIA (1310m) welcome by Himalayan Nepal Trek staff then  Transfer to hotel  on BB plan.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley Patan, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath then stay at hotel on BB plan
Day 03:  Kathmandu to Sudarijal (2hrs), Trek to Chisapani (2165m) stay at Lodge
Day 04: Chisapani to Kutumsang (6hrs) 2470m stay at Lodge
Day 05: Kutumsang to Magengoth (4hrs) 3420m stay at Lodge
Day 06: Mangengoth to Thadepati (4hrs) 3690m stay at Lodge
Day 07: Thadepati to Melamchi Village (4hrs) 2520m stay at Lodge
Day 08: Melamchi village to Tarkegyang (5hrs) 2600m stay at Lodge

Though there is no particular season as all the season are favorable for trekking to Nepal. We would suggest during atom season it would be best to travel between end of September to end of November and during spring beginning of January to April last week. During trek though we cannot find star level hotels our guest will have beautiful lodges with twin sharing bed and also can find attach WC(bathroom) but then lodges will charge extra for it. Lodges will have wooden parketing system for making ambience warm. Overall accommodation to Everest Region trek is comfortable.

In kathmandu there can be found verities of food as there are many Chinese and continental restaurants.Beside in Thamail and Durbarmarg guest can enjoy food like Korean cuisine, Thai, Japanese, and Italian and last but not the least Nepali Dal Bhat and it goes same during trek too.

Equipment plays vital role during trek. Guest is our responsibility and we work hard to fulfill our responsibility.we take first aid kit, oxygen bag and we make emergency rescue helicopter ready in case of an emmergency.we focus on acclimatization days so that we can prevent our guest from altitude sickness. We also provide Gamow bag and satellite phone in case of Need.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1310m), Transfer to hotel
Once you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, you will proceed through custom and visa formalities and then representative from Himalayan Nepal Trek Pvt. Ltd. will receive you. You will be transferred to the luxurious hotel in Kathmandu with Bed and Breakfast plan. You will get briefing regarding your trek package and then enjoy the delicious meal before spending your night in a hotel. 

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing
Early in the morning, meet with staffs and get trip briefing from the guide. You will be provided with half day Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour during which you will visit UNESCO enlisted cultural heritage sites of Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, Boudhanath and Pashupatinath. Drive to Bhaktapur Durbar Square and enjoy the views of 55- window palace, Golden Gate, Nyatapol Temple and Pottery Square and return to hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Sudarijal (2hrs), Trek to Chisapani (2165m)
Leaving Kathmandu, follow the road from Chabahil for about two hours to reach Sundarijal. Helambu Valley Trek begins from Sundarijal. Walk through the stone steps from Sundarijal and reach hydroelectric plant. Walk through Shivpuri Watershed and Wildlife Reserve and reach the Tamang village of Mulkharka. Cross the forest of rhododendron to arrive at Chisapani.

Day 04: Chisapani to Kutumsang (6hrs) 2470m
Lower down from Chispani and then take the straight path till you reach pasture land. Walk through the settlement at Pati Bhanjyang to Gul Bhanjyang. Following the ascending trail from Gul Bhanjyang, reach to the other pass (2620m) and descend to Kutumsang for overnight stay.

Day 05: Kutumsang to Magengoth (4hrs) 3420m
Leave Kutumsang and head north. Follow the ascending trail to Yurin Danda. Descend from the forested ridge and walk through the eroded path before entering the forest. Exiting from the forest, lower down to Magen Goth for overnight stay.

Day 06: Mangengoth to Thadepati (4hrs) 3690m
Leaving Mangengoth, walk through the sparsely populated land and enter the spruce and rhododendron forest. Reach to the top of ridge and get awe-inspiring views of Makalu Mountain, Langtang Ri Mountain and Gosaikunda Mountain and descend to Thadepati/ Tharepati which is a village of mixed ethnic.

Day 07: Thadepati to Melamchi (4hrs) 2520m
Head east from Thadepati and walk along the local school to the Melamchigaon village. Visit the nearby monastery and enjoy overnight stay at Melamchi Village.

Day 08: Melamchi village to Tarkegyang (5hrs) 2600m
Lower down from Melamchigaon to the Melamchi River. Cross the river and climb to the other side at Tarkegyang. Visit the ancient monastery and have overnight stay at Tarkegyang village.  

Day 09: Tarkeghyang to Sermathang (4hrs) 2590m
Leave the largest village in Helambu and follow the easy trail through the meadow. Enter the forest of pine and oak before reaching the Sherpa village of Sermathang. The ridge in Sermathang offers close-up view of Jugal Mountain Range.

Day 10: Sermathang to Kakani (4hrs) 1998m
About 4hrs of trek from Sermathang through series of ups and downs will take us to Kakani. Kakani is famous for the strawberry farm. Pass through pretty tiny villages to Kakani. Enjoy the mountain views and have overnight stay.

Day 11: Kakani to Kathmandu
Drive from Kakani to Kathmandu by chasing the swirling road with never-ending curves and bends. Get transferred to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 12: Free Day in Kathmandu, evening dinner with Nepali culture
You can spend the day on your own. Go for shopping in Thamel or you can also choose any of the day tour packages. Farewell dinner will be served in the evening with typical Nepali culture.

Day 13: Departure!!!
After last minute preparation, you will be accompanied to Tribhuvan International Airport 3hours before the scheduled flight. Safe Journey!!!
