Gorilla Trek is one of the rare trekking trials of the far western region of Nepal. It is newly identified trekking route and recently been launched. Gorilla trek, as per the name it reflects the direct relation with gorilla Maoist of Nepal. Gorilla trekking route is those route used by a Maoist gorilla of Nepal during the conflict of 1996 to 2006.Trekking in Nepal, Trekking in the Himalayas, This trekking trial provides trekkers an opportunity to see the routes, hideouts, and shelter used by the Maoist gorilla of Nepal. This route passes through a lush valley in the shadow of the mighty Himalayan range which includes impressive and attractive Dhaulagiri (8167m). Dramatic waterfalls, lakes, and country only hunting reserve in Nepal Dhorpatan are the special aspect of this trekking. The views from Jalja La, a pass at 3386 m, are stunning and definitely compete with crowded Poon hills. We also can have a close-up view of whole mountain range especially Dhaulagiri and Gurja Himal. But present days this route is so peace full and beautiful. Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu TIA (1,310m) Welcome by Himalayan Nepal Trek staff and direct transfer to Hotel briefing stay at a hotel on BB plan.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley, Patan, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath stay at hotel

Day 03: Kathmandu to Beni 830m (8 hours by bus).

Day 04: Drive to Darbang from Beni and trek to Takam (1675m.): About 6-7hrs. Stay in a tent.

Day 05: Trek Takam to Lamsung (2190m.): About 6-7hrs. Stay in a tent.

Day 06: Trek Lamsung to Gurjaghat (3015m.): About 7hrs. Stay in tent

Day 07: Trek Gurjaghat to Dhorpatan (2870m.): About 5hrs. Stay in a tent.

Day 08: Trek to Nisil Dhor (2620m.): About 5-6hrs. Stay in a tent.

Day 09: Trek Dhor to Upallo Sera (3321m.): About 6-7hrs. Stay in a tent.

Day 10: Trek Tallo Sera to Rujhikhola (2862m.): About 7hrs. Stay in a tent.

AIRPORT PICKUP AND DROP

The representative will be there outside the Terminal Hall with Himalayan Nepal Trek logo along with your name thereon. You’ll then be transferred to your hotel.

TRANSPORTATION

We use a mix of native buses and taxis, non-public mini buses for city sightseeing and airport pickups and generally land cruisers for journeys into the mountains. The selection of auto will depend upon the scale of your group.

ACCOMMODATION

We book a hotel as per your preference but basically, we use 3* standard rooms in Kathmandu and Pokhara. We serve you twin sharing rooms and King bed for a couple. We use Lodges throughout the trek with twin bed room and sharing. 

SAFETY

Safety is our first priority; our team puts best effort to minimize the risk. We take care of any emergency that may occur within the path. First aid kit, oxygen bag and eventually emergency rescue via chopper are always ready just in case of an emergency. Besides we manage threat with rest days and our staffs will be there to advise you.

EQUIPMENT

Weather condition may invite the requirement of some equipment like crampons, trekking poles, raincoat etc. So, we tend to request you to carry only need types of equipment. Down jacket, trouser Ti-shirt, boot, knife, walking steak, lightweight bag, sunglass, gloves, suns cream, warm socks, head light, wind proof jacket etc.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Common to experience some discomfort before you become absolutely acclimatized to the altitude. Most treks are suitable for anyone who is moderately matched. No previous experience is needed. Some cardiovascular physical fitness programs like regular walking, running, swimming and hiking are necessary to increase the performance. Participants with pre-existing medical condition or diseases should look for a medical recommendation before considering a trek.

FOOD DURING THE TREK

Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner each day, as per itinerary, is enclosed. Continental, Nepali and Sherpa food from the menu.

SHOWER IN TREK

Hot shower is available during the trek at your own expense about $5

CHARGING BATTERY

Electricity will not always be available, particularly in additional remote areas. Carry a second set of charged batteries with you.

COMMUNICATION FACILITIES

During the trek, it’s not possible to get a connection every where but there are certain places throughout the trek wherever you get the surplus over internet and telecommunication. We offer you satellite phone as per your preference. You can use our guide cell phone to communicate if you don't have your own number, they welcome you anytime. 

CREDIT CARDS

You can rely on credit cards in Cities however once we tend to begin trek we solely use the cash. Ensure that you just take spare Nepalese rupees. Dollars, Euros, and Pounds will be accepted.

ADDITIONAL CASH PER DAY

15 to 20 US$ every day will be enough to shop for bottles of water, chocolates, gifts and more.

Visa fees are:

US$ 25/40/100 for 15 days/30 days/90 days multiple entries that are collectible solely in USD money. The maximum number of days should be included in the section about extending a trek. 

STAFFS INSURANCE

PORTER SERVICE

15kg of baggage per person and porter carries 30Kg. you need to carry a small day bag with personal belongings, camera, water, windproof jacket, glass and sun cream and rain clothing etc.

WEATHER

We cannot predict the atmospheric condition in the Himalayas, weather pattern keeps on changing through the day. Nights are very cold and days are higher primarily trekking in Nepal we tend to recommend during March-May and September- Gregorian calendar month.
