Trek Introduction-

Everest view Trek is particularly designed for traveler, who would like to induce close-up view of Mt. Everest(Mt Sagarmatha) and experience himalayan life,in a straightforward approach while not attending to the upper elevation.This trek is short in duration but sweet with what you achieve.The highest elvevation of the this trek is 3860 meter but if you would like to reach higher elevation.You have trekking view point peaks above 4000 meter name as Tengbuche Ri and Khunde view point along your route. The trek offers magnificent views of Mountain, the lifestyle of Sherpa and villages, flora and fauna of the Sagarmatha National Park(SNP), Sherpa culture,festival,monastery related to ancient Tibetan Buddhist tradition. The main festival of this area are Mani-rimdu(November) and Dumji(July) which is celebrated once in a year. The festival is enjoyed by visitors, local which take place in Tengbuche Monastery and Khumjung. If you happen to schedule your trek in this time of the year, it will be wonderful to observe it.

 Outline Itinerary-12 Days

Day 01: Pick up In Kathmandu (ktm), Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA, 1310 m), transfer to hotel, (BB plan)

Day 02: Sightseeing around world heritage site (UNESSCO), Preparation for trek.

Day 03: flight to Lukla (2900 M) 35min, Trek to Phakding (2610m), 5hrs overnight at Lodge,

Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m) 5-6 hrs, overnight at Lodge

Day 05: Trek to twin valley (khumjung,khunde) overnight at lodge

Day 06: Trek to Phortse (3800 m) 5/6 hrs, overnight at Lodge

Day 07: Trek to Pangboche (3940 m) 5/6 hrs, overinight at lodge 

Day 08: Trek to Kyangjuma (3500 m) 4/5 hrs, overnight at lodge.

Day 09: Trek to Chummo(2860 m) overnight at lodge

Day 10: Trek to Lukla(2900 m), overnight at lodge.

Day 11: Flight to Kathmandu(TIA),transfer to hotel.

Day 12: Drop to Airport(TIA), Departure

 

Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival (1310m), Transfer to Hotel (B.B.)

Once you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, you will proceed through custom and visa formalities and then a representative from Himalayan Nepal Trek Pvt. Ltd. will receive you. You will be transferred to the luxurious hotel in Kathmandu with Bed and Breakfast plan. You will get briefing regarding your trek package and then enjoy the delicious meal before spending your night in a hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu

After breakfast, go for half day Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour. Visit world heritage sites of Pashupatinath, Boudhanath and Swayambhunath and then return to a hotel. Enjoy the farewell dinner with Typical Nepali Culture in evening.

Day 03: Kathmandu- Lukla (2827m) Flight 35min, Trek to Phakding (2610m)

You will meet with your team members in the morning at our office.  You will then be escorted to Tribhuvan Airport, Domestic terminal from where you will take 30 minutes long Kathmandu- Lukla flight. Enjoy the mountain flight with breath-taking views of Ganesh, Langtang, Nuptse, Thamserku, Lhotse, Cho- Oyu, Everest and other peaks and mountains. The plane lands at Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Lukla (2840 m). Assemble the crew and start your Everest View Trek. Cross Dudhkoshi River and walk through Ghat village to Phakding (2610 m).

Day 04: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m)

Continue to follow Dudhkoshi River for about 2hrs. Traverse the pine and oak forest and arrive at the suspension bridge. Cross Benkar to arrive at Monjo village which is known for having Entrance Gate to Sagarmatha National Park. Move further through Jorsale to Army Camp and arrive at Namche Bazaar (3440m).

Day 05: Namche Bazaar to Khumjung Village (3789m)

Khumjung and Khude are two small villages that locate near to Namche Bazaar. Visit Khumjung Village and get the close view of Kwande Peak. There exists a small monastery in Khumjung village that is believed to protect the locals from evil spirits. Learn about the local culture and lifestyle.

Day 06: Khumjung to Phortse Village (3800m)

Lower down from Khumjung to the valley and take brief ascend to Phortse village. Phortse is a small Sherpa village. Lifestyle and culture of people in Phortse are influenced by neighboring Tibetans.

Day 07: Phortse to Pangboche (3940m)

Leave Phortse and move through the crop fields to a river. Walk along two white chortens. Crossing Khumbu River, we will choose the major Everest route and move in and out of Tsuro Wog, Shomare and other villages to Pangboche. Pangboche is the highest trekking point for Everest View Trek. Visit the Khumbu’s oldest Sherpa Gompa that in Pangboche. This Gompa is believed to be found in 1667.

Day 08: Pangboche to Kyangjuma (3500m)

The scenic village of Pangboche is located at the base of Ama Dablam. Cross Dingboche and Tengboche villages and descend through the rhododendron forest to the bridge. Cross Dudhkoshi River and move through pretty Tashinga and Sansa villages to reach Kyangjuma. Stay overnight at Kyangjuma.

Day 09: Kyangjuma to Manjo (2835m)

Follow the scenic trail with chances of wildlife views to Namche Bazaar. Once we arrive at Namche, we will take the downhill trek to reach the bridge. Crossing the suspension bridge over Dudhkoshi River, we will reach Monjo. There lies a gate to Sagarmatha National Park at Monjo. Stay overnight at Monjo village.

Day 10: Manjo to Lukla (2827m)

Although a long walk, this is the exciting trek that follows through series of ups and downs. Walk through the flat land and go through rhododendron and pine forests. Occasional passing through dispersed Sherpa villages will lead us to Dudhkoshi River. Crossing the suspension bridge, we will reach Chheplung. Brief trek from Chheplung will take us to Lukla.

Day 11: Lukla to Kathmandu Flight

Due to the weather condition, there exist the chances of flight cancellation in Lukla. If the weather remains fine, you will catch early morning flight from Lukla to Kathmandu and arrive at Kathmandu in 30min from where you will be escorted to the hotel in Kathmandu. Stay overnight at a Hotel.

Day 12: Departure!!!

After last minute preparation, you will be accompanied to Tribhuvan International Airport 3hours before the scheduled flight. Safe Journey!!!

AIRPORT PICKUP AND DROP

The representative will be there outside the Terminal Hall with Himalayan Nepal Trek logo along with your name thereon. You’ll then be transferred to your hotel.

TRANSPORTATION

We use a mix of native buses and taxis, non-public mini buses for city sightseeing and airport pickups and generally land cruisers for journeys into the mountains. The selection of auto will depend upon the scale of your group.

ACCOMMODATION

We book a hotel as per your preference but basically, we use 3* standard rooms in Kathmandu and Pokhara. We serve you twin sharing rooms and King bed for a couple. We use Lodges throughout the trek with twin bed room and sharing. 

SAFETY

Safety is our first priority; our team puts best effort to minimize the risk. We take care of any emergency that may occur within the path. First aid kit, oxygen bag and eventually emergency rescue via chopper are always ready just in case of an emergency. Besides we manage threat with rest days and our staffs will be there to advise you.

EQUIPMENT

Weather condition may invite the requirement of some equipment like crampons, trekking poles, raincoat etc. So, we tend to request you to carry only need types of equipment. Down jacket, trouser Ti-shirt, boot, knife, walking steak, lightweight bag, sunglass, gloves, suns cream, warm socks, head light, wind proof jacket etc.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Common to experience some discomfort before you become absolutely acclimatized to the altitude. Most treks are suitable for anyone who is moderately matched. No previous experience is needed. Some cardiovascular physical fitness programs like regular walking, running, swimming and hiking are necessary to increase the performance. Participants with pre-existing medical condition or diseases should look for a medical recommendation before considering a trek.

FOOD DURING THE TREK

Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner each day, as per itinerary, is enclosed. Continental, Nepali and Sherpa food from the menu.

SHOWER IN TREK

Hot shower is available during the trek at your own expense about $5

CHARGING BATTERY

Electricity will not always be available, particularly in additional remote areas. Carry a second set of charged batteries with you.

COMMUNICATION FACILITIES

During the trek, it’s not possible to get a connection every where but there are certain places throughout the trek wherever you get the surplus over internet and telecommunication. We offer you satellite phone as per your preference. You can use our guide cell phone to communicate if you don't have your own number, they welcome you anytime. 

CREDIT CARDS

You can rely on credit cards in Cities however once we tend to begin trek we solely use the cash. Ensure that you just take spare Nepalese rupees. Dollars, Euros, and Pounds will be accepted.

ADDITIONAL CASH PER DAY

15 to 20 US$ every day will be enough to shop for bottles of water, chocolates, gifts and more.

PURIFYING TABLETS AND FILTERS

Visa fees are:

US$ 25/40/100 for 15 days/30 days/90 days multiple entries that are collectible solely in USD money. The maximum number of days should be included in the section about extending a trek. 

STAFFS INSURANCE

Our company ensures all of our trekking staff: Guides, Cooks, Sherpa’s and Porters. 

PORTER SERVICE

15kg of baggage per person and porter carries 30Kg. you need to carry a small day bag with personal belongings, camera, water, windproof jacket, glass and sun cream and rain clothing etc.

WEATHER

We cannot predict the atmospheric condition in the Himalayas, weather pattern keeps on changing through the day. Nights are very cold and days are higher primarily trekking in Nepal we tend to recommend during March-May and September- Gregorian calendar month.
