Day 01: Arrive in Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu 1,310m welcome by Himalayan Nepal Trek, transfer to Hotel

Day 02: Kathmandu to Lukla 2,828 Flight 35 minute Trek to Phakding (2610m) 3hrs stay at Lodge

Day 03: Trek  to Namche Bazar (3,440m) 5hrs stay at Lodge

Day 04: Day trip exploring the Everest View Hotel Khumjung (3,789m) see the incurable panoramic views including Mount Everest back to Namche Bazar 4/5hrs stay at Lodge

Day 05: Trek to Lukla (2,840m) 5/6hrs stay at Lodge

Day 06: Flight back to Kathmandu transfer to Hotel (1,310m) evening farewell dinner together in typical Nepali cultural restaurant.

Day 07: Departure to your onward destination, a representative will accompany you to the airport.  


Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival (1,310m)

Once you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, you will proceed through custom and visa formalities and then a representative from Himalayan Nepal Trek Pvt. Ltd. will receive you. You will be transferred to the hotel in Kathmandu with Bed and Breakfast plan. y evening you will get briefing regarding your trek package and enjoy the delicious welcome meal before spending your night hotel. 

Day 02: Kathmandu - Lukla Flight, Trek to Phakding (2,610m) 3hrs O/N Lodge

You will then be escorted to Tribhuvan Airport, Domestic terminal from where you will take 30minutes. Enjoy the mountain flight with breath-taking views of Ganesh, Langtang, Nuptse, Thamserku, Lhotse, Cho- Oyu, Everest and other peaks. Assemble the crew and start your Everest Mini Trek. Cross Dudhkoshi River and walk through Ghat village to Phakding (2610 m).

Day 03: Phakding to Namche (3440m) 5hrs O/N Lodge

Continue to follow Dudhkoshi River for about 2hrs. Traverse the pine and oak forest and arrive at the suspension bridge. Cross Benkar to arrive at Monjo village which is entrance Gate to Sagarmatha National Park. Move further through Jorsale to the army camp and arrive at Namche Bazaar (3,440m).  

Day 04: Namche to Khumjung (3789m) 2-3hrs O/N Lodge

Khumjung and Khude are two small villages that locate near to Namche Bazaar. Visit Khumjung Village and get the close view of Kwande Peak. There exists a small monastery in Khumjung village that is believed to be the protector of locals from evil spirits. Khumjung, geographically very unique and beautiful despite covering small village area further more we will learn about the local culture and lifestyle.

Day 05: Khumjung to Banker (2,670m) 5-6hrs O/N Lodge

Khumjung is as far as we reach in Everest Mini Trek. Return from Khumjung and walk through the trade center of Namche to Banker. Banker is the small Sherpa village that lies in between Namche and Phakding. Enjoy the mountain views and cross the rhododendron forest to arrive at Banker where you will stay overnight.

Day 06: Banker to Lukla (2840m) 5-6hrs) O/N Lodge

Follow the descending trail from Banker and cross rhododendron forest to arrive at suspension bridge over Dudhkoshi River. Follow the river for few hours and you will reach Phakding. Continue walking through Phakding and you will reach Lukla in a couple of hours where you will stay overnight. You can get to see mountain views throughout the trek.

Day 07: Lukla- KTM flight, evening farewell dinner O/N at Hotel (B.B.)

Due to the weather condition, there exist the chances of flight cancellation in Lukla. If the weather remains fine, you will catch early morning flight from Lukla to Kathmandu and arrive at Kathmandu in 30mi. after we reach the valley you will be escorted to the hotel in Kathmandu. Enjoy the Farewell dinner typical Nepal culture show and stay overnight at a Hotel.

Day 08: Departure

You will be accompanied by our representative to Tribhuvan International Airport 3hours before the scheduled flight. Safe Journey!!!

AIRPORT PICKUP AND DROP

The representative will be there outside the Terminal Hall with Himalayan Nepal Trek logo along with your name thereon. You’ll then be transferred to your hotel.

TRANSPORTATION

We use a mix of native buses and taxis, non-public mini buses for city sightseeing and airport pickups and generally land cruisers for journeys into the mountains. The selection of auto will depend upon the scale of your group.

ACCOMMODATION

We book a hotel as per your preference but basically, we use 3* standard rooms in Kathmandu and Pokhara. We serve you twin sharing rooms and King bed for a couple. We use Lodges throughout the trek with twin bed room and sharing. 

SAFETY

Safety is our first priority; our team puts best effort to minimize the risk. We take care of any emergency that may occur within the path. First aid kit, oxygen bag and eventually emergency rescue via chopper are always ready just in case of an emergency. Besides we manage threat with rest days and our staffs will be there to advise you.

EQUIPMENT

Weather condition may invite the requirement of some equipment like crampons, trekking poles, raincoat etc. So, we tend to request you to carry only need types of equipment. Down jacket, trouser Ti-shirt, boot, knife, walking steak, lightweight bag, sunglass, gloves, suns cream, warm socks, head light, wind proof jacket etc.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Common to experience some discomfort before you become absolutely acclimatized to the altitude. Most treks are suitable for anyone who is moderately matched. No previous experience is needed. Some cardiovascular physical fitness programs like regular walking, running, swimming and hiking are necessary to increase the performance. Participants with pre-existing medical condition or diseases should look for a medical recommendation before considering a trek.

FOOD DURING THE TREK

CHARGING BATTERY

Electricity will not always be available, particularly in additional remote areas. Carry a second set of charged batteries with you.

COMMUNICATION FACILITIES

During the trek, it’s not possible to get a connection every where but there are certain places throughout the trek wherever you get the surplus over internet and telecommunication. We offer you satellite phone as per your preference. You can use our guide cell phone to communicate if you don't have your own number, they welcome you anytime.

Visa fees are:

US$ 25/40/100 for 15 days/30 days/90 days multiple entries that are collectible solely in USD money. The maximum number of days should be included in the section about extending a trek.

PORTER SERVICE

15kg of baggage per person and porter carries 30Kg. you need to carry a small day bag with personal belongings, camera, water, windproof jacket, glass and sun cream and rain clothing etc.

We cannot predict the atmospheric condition in the Himalayas, weather pattern keeps on changing through the day.
