For everyone planning their next trek in the Himalayas of Nepal, it is highly recommended that you get a travel insurance that covers added expenses that might result due to various health issues, injuries or accidents (together with air ambulance, helicopter rescue and other treatment cost). Your insurance policy should cover up your entire activities that you are planning to accomplish throughout your stay in Nepal. In addition to this, the policy should also cover death, misplaced luggage, theft and liability, cancellations, medical treatment (counting hospital charges, cost of the medicine, doctor fees) as well as repatriation cost. Also, most of the trekking trails in Nepal take you above the altitude of 5000m, therefore, you also need to ensure that your insurance policy covers treks that go over 5000m. In short, its client himself/herself has to take the responsibility regarding unforeseen expenses during the trip. Health, fitness and experience requirements: Altitudes in the Himalayas of Nepal definitely demand excellent stamina, tough determination, and the best health condition. Some sections of the trek are quite demanding and some days might even require 8-9 hours of walking. Though trek to the Everest Base Camp is considered moderate and easily attainable, it is highly suggested to seek advice, medications and permission from your doctor before scheduling your trek. It is also recommended to take expert guidance from your local General Practitioner regarding necessary guide walks prior to your trek in Nepal. In the absence of GP, seeking advice from travel clinic is also considered as a very good idea. Moreover, the good news is that, no technical skill is required to plan your trek or any other exploratory trips in Nepal. However, your prior hiking or camping experience will definitely be considered as a plus point. Also, a few weeks of regular exercise and jogging is recommended before the trip to build up the required stamina. Last fall (October / November 2016) I went on a 14 day trek with Himalayan Nepal Trek to Everest Base Camp. This was my first time in Nepal and my first real hiking experience. For me it was truly an amazing adventure which was largely attributable to the people and the company that I had chosen to support my journey. Gopal and his team of guides and porters ensured our trip was safe and as comfortable as possible. I ended up with a lung infection almost to base camp (Thukla) which caused be to abort my trip. The guides made sure that I got down to the clinic safely and that I got the medical attention needed. I will not forget the wonderful dinner and party we had with them all our last night in Lukla.
Despite getting sick I had a wonderful trek with Himalayan Nepal Trek and am planning on returning with them in 2019 to finish what I started.
i was checking out the YouTube videos and I found one about trekking in Himalayas and i was amazed I mad a quick decision and started to google it, I came across Himalayan Nepal trek and all I had to do was shop and pack the things up.

Everest Base camp trek is such a wonderful place
Thanks to Gopal and my Guide Pemba. This moment will forever remain in my heart.
See you soon for the Annapurna
The group of 9 friends thoroughly enjoyed the scenery and warmth of the people of Nepal. The Himalayan Nepal Trek Company provided the most amazing, friendly and accommodating guides and porters, who ensured we were well cared for and enjoyed the best of the Everest Base Camp trek. We have returned with such superb photographs and memories, that we are planning to return next year, with the same guides, to explore the Annapurna region.
“Our recent trek to Everest Base Camp was filled with challenging terrain, quick weather changes, wind and sun burns and several occasions of upset stomach….none of which we would not gladly go through again to experience the opulence of spectacular views contained with the Khumbu region of Nepal. Our experience was further amplified by the services provided by Himalayan Nepal Trek Pv. Ltd. Upon arrival at Kathmandu airport we were greeted by Gopal and his son Gajendra and driven to our hotel. After one day of “rest” in Kathmandu, we made the flight to Lukla to begin our trek. I must admit, I was initially concerned at our guide’s (Gajendra) age. Being only twenty one; I was weary of his abilities and experience. I was completely misguided in my opinion; a true homage to the adage “You can’t judge a book by its cover”. Gajendra was an exemplary guide and extremely experienced in the area. By the end of our trek we were more friends than a guide and two trekkers. If your travel plans involve a trip to Everest base camp, Annapurna base camp Trekking the Annapurna Circuit Trek or any of the other trek itineraries provided by Himalayan Nepal Trek Pv. Ltd. I would strongly encourage you to go with Gopal’s company; I know when we plan to return to Nepal again, Himalayan Nepal Trek Pv. Ltd. will be the company we contact.” Have a wonderful day!
