This is a designed trek itinerary, which leads from one region Dolpa to another Mustang. Dolpo- Mustang trek offers the remote area of Nepal with undiscovered natural beauties of the lake, Himalayas, valleys, people, and culture. It is challenging trek because of its numerous high pass and long trekking journey but overall a beautiful destination.
Dolpo Mustang Trek is well known among the trekkers as the isolated yet enclosed with the numerous Himalayas counting the giant Dhaulagiri which is close to the boundary of Tibet. It is said that the native of Dolpo are the ascendants of Buddhist Born –Po so you can trace the generation of Tibetan people. The rich Shey Phoksundo National Park which is loaded with wildlife and vegetation is the major attraction of the trek. Day 12: Trek to Dho tarap (3,944m), 6-7 hrs stay at the tent.
Day 13: Trek to Dharo Gumpa (4,326m), 5-6 hrs, stay at the tent.
Day 14: Trek to Charkala Pass (5,365m) trek down to Chhorkabot (4,480m) 7-8 hrs stay at the tent.
Day 15: Trek to Norbung (4,750m), 7-8 hrs, stay at the tent.
Day 16: Trek to Newar, Thuchela, Sangda Pass and trek down to Sanda Phedi (4,190m), 7-8 hrs, stay at the tent.
Day 17: Trek to Sangda Dada (4,622m), 4-5 hrs, stay at the tent.
Day 18: Trek to Phalayak (3,175m), 6-7 hrs stay at the tent.
Day 19: Trek to Jomsom (2,720m) 3 hrs stay at Lodge
Day 20: Flight to Pokhara 25 min and Drive to Kathmandu (5/6 hrs), Farewell dinner.
Day 21: Drop to Airport (TIA), Kathmandu to your onward destination.
Day 01: Arrive in TIA, Kathmandu
As you land on Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, you will be received by the representative staff from Himalayan Nepal Trek with a proper greeting. Then, afterward, you will be transferred to hotel where you will learn the detailed itinerary. We can change the set itinerary as per your feasibility. Stay overnight in hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
On the second day, you will move to know the Kathmandu valley through the mode of sightseeing after breakfast. As a part of seeing the site, you will visit in Pashupatinath and Bouddhanath which are listed in the World Heritage Sites. Pashupatinath is the symbol of Hinduism where as Bouddhanath represents the Buddhism even though people visit each other with great respect. Then, you will return to the hotel. Stay overnight in hotel.
Day 03: Flight to Nepalgunj
On the third day of trekking, you will wake up and will transfer to the airport from where you will take a flight to Nepalgunj. After turning up to Nepalgunj taking some rest you will set out to visit the religious and famous temple of Nepalgunj along with some bazaars. Stay overnight in hotel.
Day 04: Flight to Juphal and trek to Dunai (2,150m) 3 ½ hrs
Spending the gratifying night at Nepaljung you will take another 45 minutes of flight to Juphal (2,320m) which is positioned over the high Himalayas, allowing for Dhaulagiri and Annapurna. From Juphal again you will walk for 3 and half an hour towards the camp site at Dunai (2,850m). Stay overnight in a tented camp.
Day 05: Trek to Chhepka (2,600m) 5-6 hrs
Continuing the trek from Dunai you will head to Chhepka which is situated at an elevation of 2,600 meters and it consumes 5 to 6 hours. With that duration, you can walk peacefully without any hurry. Stay overnight in tented camp.
Day 06: Trek to Sumdo (3,000m) 3-4 hrs
Heading ahead from Chhepka will take you to Sumdo which is positioned at an elevation of 3,000 meters. Sumdo is a beautiful place where you can experience the love and respect among the villagers. You will trek for 3 to 4 hours of a short stroll. Stay overnight in tented camp.
Day 07: Trek to Shey Phoksundo Lake (3,738m) 3-4 hrs
Today the route moves to let you free on the border so that you can view the distant examination of Phoksundo Lake and an impressive lofty waterfall, which is supposed as the highest in Nepal. Spending some time at Phoksundo Lake you can see the enormous sights. Day 10: Trek to Bagala Pass (5,214m) and trek down to Numa La Phedi (4,800m) 7-8 hrs
Bagala Pass positioned at 5,214 meters is a beautiful pass with stunning ice giants, pastureland, dense forests, and temples. From Bagala Pass you will trek downward by heading towards Numa La Phedi which is again to be found at the altitude of 4,800 meters. You will walk from 7 to 8 hours of trek. Stay overnight in tented camp.
Day 11: Trek to Numula Pass (5,238m) and trek down to Numula Base Camp (4,600m) 7-8 hrs

Day 13: Trek to Dharo Gump (4,326m) 5-6 hrs

Day 16: Trek to Newar, Thuchela, Sangda Pass and trek down to Sanda Phedi (4,190m) 7-8 hrs
On the following day, you will set out to trek Newar, Thuchela, Sangda Pass after taking breakfast. At first, you will take leave from Norbung and then head towards these destinations. You will feel good while trekking into such rugged trails. Then, after some time you will trek down to Sanda Phdi. The total trekking duration will last for 7 to 8 hours. Stay overnight in tented camp.
Day 17: Trek to Sangda Dada (4,622m) 4-5 hrs
On the following day, you will take an ascend to Sangda Dada which is to be found at an elevation of 4,622 meters by taking 4 to 5 hours of time frame. AT times you will follow the downward movement and then upward move. So, there is no fixed trekking trail for this day. Stay overnight in tented camp.
Day 18: Trek to Phalayak (3,175m) 6-7 hrs

Day 19: Trek to Jomsom (2,720m) 3 hrs

Day 20: Flight to Pokhara and drive to Kathmandu, farewell dinner
Taking breakfast you will drive to the airport to catch a flight to Pokhara and from Pokhara, you will go for a scenic drive to Kathmandu after spending a beautiful time in Pokhara. This will be the joyous adventurous journey. Arriving in Kathmandu you will be transferred to the hotel where you can enjoy the comfortable bed. In the evening you will return to hotel completing the short sightseeing to take part in farewell dinner. Stay overnight in hotel.
Day 21: Departure!!!!
Accomplishing 21 days of Nepal trips you will return your home town from TIA. You will be transferred to the airport safely and then depart from us.
The representative will be there outside the Terminal Hall with Himalayan Nepal Trek logo along with your name thereon. You’ll then be transferred to your hotel.
We use a mix of native buses and taxis, non-public minibusses for city sightseeing and airport pickups and generally land cruisers for journeys into the mountains. The selection of auto will depend upon the scale of your group.
We book a hotel as per your preference but basically, we use 3* standard rooms in Kathmandu and Pokhara. We serve you twin sharing rooms and King bed for a couple. We use Lodges throughout the trek with twin bedroom and sharing.
Safety is our first priority; our team puts best effort to minimize the risk. We take care of any emergency that may occur within the path. First aid kit, oxygen bag and eventually emergency rescue via chopper are always ready just in case of an emergency. Besides we manage threat with rest days and our staffs will be there to advise you.
Weather condition may invite the requirement of some equipment like crampons, trekking poles, raincoat etc. So, we tend to request you to carry only need types of equipment. Down jacket, trouser Ti-shirt, boot, knife, walking steak, lightweight bag, sunglass, gloves, suns cream, warm socks, head light, windproof jacket etc.
Common to experience some discomfort before you become absolutely acclimatized to the altitude. Most treks are suitable for anyone who is moderately matched. No previous experience is needed. Some cardiovascular physical fitness programs like regular walking, running, swimming and hiking are necessary to increase the performance. Participants with pre-existing medical condition or diseases should look for a medical recommendation before considering a trek.
