Dhaulagiri Expedition:Dhaulagiri Name derived from the Sanskrit word “Dhavala” which gives the meaning of White Mountain.Mount Dhaulagiri Rankin position of seventh highest mountain in the world lies in the northwest ofMyagdi district of Nepal. Dhaulagiri with its height of 8167m is unparallel as it rise 7000m over kalivalley with the Horizontal length of 30km.
 
The British in India during early 1800s and one of the Indian surveyors sighted this mountain Mapped it in 1873.According to the data, 2007 there has been 358 summit ascents of Dhaulagiri.The first attempt was by Swiss troop in 1960 which was success similarly Japanese climbed in 1970As well as the Italian and American climbed in 1973, 1976 correspondingly.

Dhaulagiri is considered the most appealing peak among the eight thousand meters though only seasoned Mountaineers seem to have interest in formidable mountain because of its technically challenging routs and lack of commercial expedition.

Day 4: KTM/Pokhara by air Pokhara beni and trek to Raughat stay in tent
Day 5: Trek to Tatopani stay in lodge (1189m)
Day 6: Trek to Ghasa stay in tent
Day 7: Trek to Tukuche stay in tent
Day 8: Trek to Yak Kharka stay in tent
Day 9: Cross Thapa Pass stay in tent
Day 10: Cross French Pass stay in tent
Day 11: Trek to base camp and setup Base setup
Day 12: Day 46     Climbing period
Day 47: Trek to Dhampus Col stay in tent
Day 48: Trek to Yak Kharka stay in tent
Day 49: Trek to Tukuche/Marpha stay in lodge
Day 50: Trek to Jomsom stay in lodge
Day 51: Fly Jomsom/Pokhara/Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
Day 52: Kathmandu, Evening farewell dinner party in   Nepali typical restaurant stay at hotel on BB plan.
