Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek is one of the exploratories between Dhaulagiri trekking itineraries of Western Nepal i.e. separate from Annapurna region though it falls in the same constituency. Outline Itinerary 

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu TIA (1,310m)Welcome by Himalayan Nepal Trek staff and direct transfer to  Hotel briefing stay at a hotel on BB plan.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu  valley Patan, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath stay at hotel

Day 03: Drive to Darbang by local Bus 9-10 hours and stay at Tent.

Day 04: Trek to Dharapani (1,565m) 6/7 hours stay at Tent.

Day 05: Trek to Muri (1,850m) 6/7 hours stay at Tent.

Day 06: Trek to Bogara (2,050m) 5/6 hours stay at Tent.

Day 07: Trek to Dhoban (2,630m) this day the path is quite difficult and sometimes you will need the help of the ropes 6 hours stay at Tent.

Day 08: Trek to Sallaghari or Choriban Khola (3,110m) 6-hour stay at Tent.

Day 09: Trek to Italian Base camp (3,660m) this day you will reach the Italian Base Camp where you will camp just in front of the West wall of the Dhaulagiri Passing through the attractive forest we rapidly gain altitude and mountains burst out all around. 4/5 hours stay at Tent.

Day 10: Rest day for acclimatization perchance days walk to the Japanese camp for acclimatization since there is little exploring to be had this is a day to relax stay at Tent.

Day 11: Trek to Glacier camp (4,250m) After crossing the first glacier, probably using a rope in a couple of tricky spots, we climb onto the main glacier. The surroundings are spectacular which makes up for the rough and risky trail 6 hours stay at Tent.

Day 12: Trek to Dhaulagiri Base camp (4,748m) this day you will arrive at the Dhaulagiri Base Camp. Soon the rough wreckage gives way to the smooth ice of the white part of the glacier. We climb steadily to the rough and distressing but spectacular Dhaulagiri Base Camp7/ 8 hours stay at Tent.

Day 13: Trek to French pass Hidden Valley camp (5,100m) Getting off the glacier above the base camp often requires a rope, but once over the steep moraine walls, we are in safer and gentler country. After a wheezing climb to the top of French pass. 6/7 hours overnight at Tent.

Day 14: Trek to Yak Kharka (2,900m) 6/7 hours stay at Tent.

Day 15: Trek to Marpha (2,670m) stay at Lode.

Day 16: Trek to Jomsom (2,720m) 2 ½  hours stay Lodge.

Day 17: Early morning we take flight from Jomsom to Pokhara 25 minutes transfer to Hotel on BB plan.

Day 18: Drive to Kathmandu Evening farewell dinner party in  Nepali typical restaurant & stay at hotel on BB plan

Day 19: Departure!!!  Good bye last moment for your destination.

AIRPORT PICKUP AND DROP

The representative will be there outside the Terminal Hall with Himalayan Nepal Trek logo along with your name thereon. You’ll then be transferred to your hotel.

TRANSPORTATION

We use a mix of native buses and taxis, non-public mini buses for city sightseeing and airport pickups and generally land cruisers for journeys into the mountains. The selection of auto will depend upon the scale of your group.

ACCOMMODATION

We book a hotel as per your preference but basically, we use 3* standard rooms in Kathmandu and Pokhara. We serve you twin sharing rooms and King bed for a couple. We use Lodges throughout the trek with twin bed room and sharing. 

SAFETY

Safety is our first priority; our team puts best effort to minimize the risk. We take care of any emergency that may occur within the path. First aid kit, oxygen bag and eventually emergency rescue via chopper are always ready just in case of an emergency. Besides we manage threat with rest days and our staffs will be there to advise you.

EQUIPMENT

Weather condition may invite the requirement of some equipment like crampons, trekking poles, raincoat etc. So, we tend to request you to carry only need types of equipment. Down jacket, trouser Ti-shirt, boot, knife, walking steak, lightweight bag, sunglass, gloves, suns cream, warm socks, head light, wind proof jacket etc.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Common to experience some discomfort before you become absolutely acclimatized to the altitude. Most treks are suitable for anyone who is moderately matched. No previous experience is needed. Some cardiovascular physical fitness programs like regular walking, running, swimming and hiking are necessary to increase the performance. Participants with pre-existing medical condition or diseases should look for a medical recommendation before considering a trek.

FOOD DURING THE TREK

Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner each day, as per itinerary, is enclosed. Continental, Nepali and Sherpa food from the menu.

CHARGING BATTERY

Electricity will not always be available, particularly in additional remote areas. Carry a second set of charged batteries with you.

COMMUNICATION FACILITIES

During the trek, it’s not possible to get a connection every where but there are certain places throughout the trek wherever you get the surplus over internet and telecommunication. We offer you satellite phone as per your preference. You can use our guide cell phone to communicate if you don't have your own number, they welcome you anytime.

You can rely on credit cards in Cities however once we tend to begin trek we solely use the cash. Ensure that you just take spare Nepalese rupees. Dollars, Euros, and Pounds will be accepted.

Visa fees are:

US$ 25/40/100 for 15 days/30 days/90 days multiple entries that are collectible solely in USD money. The maximum number of days should be included in the section about extending a trek. 

STAFFS INSURANCE

Our company ensures all of our trekking staff: Guides, Cooks, Sherpa’s and Porters. 

PORTER SERVICE

15kg of baggage per person and porter carries 30Kg. you need to carry a small day bag with personal belongings, camera, water, windproof jacket, glass and sun cream and rain clothing etc.

WEATHER

We cannot predict the atmospheric condition in the Himalayas, weather pattern keeps on changing through the day. Nights are very cold and days are higher primarily trekking in Nepal we tend to recommend during March-May and September- Gregorian calendar month.
