Dhampush peak or Thapa peak ( 6,012m) it is one of the best and popular trekking areas of the Annapurna region. As well as it may be the easiest peak for the experience mountaineers. First, it was climbed by German expedition through the northeast ridge in 1955 A.D. that is located in the Dhaulagiri range and popular climbing peak of the Nepal. It is not a technical peak, however; the climbers may need to acclimatize it before you try to climb it. Therefore, Thorang pass (5416m) will help to acclimatize to climb the Dhampus peak. The exquisite altitude diversity between the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges make Dhampus peak the best spot to view the mountain with Tukuche peak (6,920m) and Dhaulagiri (8,167m).
