Bara Pokhari Trek which is also known as Baraha Pokhari Trekking is the wonderful journey towards the southwest of Manaslu Mountain and east of Annapurna Mountain. Bara Pokhari (meaning collection of 12lakes in one place) is the scenic place which is not only important because of its natural views but it also holds the religious and cultural significance. Every Shaman disciple must receive blessing from Bara Pokhari Lake before practicing Shamanism.   
Bara Pokhari Trekking falls in the least crowded area. It offers scenic views of Manaslu and Himalchuli Mountains. Himalayan Nepal Trek offers Bara Pokhari trek itinerary as a 16-days package.  Bara Pokhari trekking route begins from Gorkha Bazaar. Follow the trail through Tilar Village and Ngadi to Bulbule and descend through the forested ridge to Ghan Pokhara which is the large village of Gurung ethnic. Pass through few tea houses to Lamara and conclude the trek at Begnas Lake.  April, May, October and November are the best seasons for Baraha Pokhari trekking.

BEST SEASON:
Though there is no particular season as all the season are favorable for trekking to Nepal. We would suggest during atom season it would be best to travel between end of September to end of November and during spring beginning of January to April last week. Accommodation is most in hospitality industry; especially during trek, accommodation plays an vital role to make the trip flexible. We respect the choice of our guest and provide service, which facilitates them. During trek though we cannot find star level hotels our guest will have beautiful lodges with twin sharing bed and also can find attach WC(bathroom) but then lodges will charge extra for it. Lodges will have wooden parketing system for making ambience warm. Overall accommodation to Everest Region trek is comfortable.
 
FOODING:
There is quotation “one cannot think well, sleep well, if one has not dined well” that is why Himalayan Nepal Focus on providing guest with best quality food. In kathmandu there can be found verities of food as there are many Chinese and continental restaurants.Beside in Thamail and Durbarmarg guest can enjoy food like Korean cuisine, Thai, Japanese, and Italian and last but not the least Nepali Dal Bhat and it goes same during trek too.

Guest is our responsibility and we work hard to fulfill our responsibility.we take first aid kit, oxygen bag and we make emergency rescue helicopter ready in case of an emmergency.we focus on acclimatization days so that we can prevent our guest from altitude sickness. We also provide Gamow bag and satellite phone in case of Need.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1310m), Transfer to hotel (B.B.)
Once you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, you will proceed through custom and visa formalities and then representative from Himalayan Nepal Trek Pvt. Ltd. will receive you. You will be transferred to the luxurious hotel in Kathmandu with Bed and Breakfast plan. You will get briefing regarding your trek package and then enjoy the delicious meal before spending your night in a hotel. 

Day 2: Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley
Early in the morning, you will be provided with half day Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour during which you will visit UNESCO enlisted cultural heritage sites of Pashupatinath and Boudhanath including the holy Narayanthan Temple which is also known as Budhanilkantha Temple. Located in a tranquil atmosphere, you can witness the giant form of Lord Vishnu reclining in a snake bed at the middle of lake in Budhanilkantha.

Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Gorkha (1350m)
Historically, the most important town of Nepal and the birthplace of King Prithvi Narayan Nepal who played key role in unification of Nepal, Gorkha is located 150km far from Kathmandu and can be accessed by 5hrs of drive from Kathmandu. Visit Gorkha Palace (3281m) from where King Prithvi Narayan Shah used to rule over Gorkha. 

Day 4: Gorkha Bazaar to Tilar Village (1100m)
Leave Gorkha and move to Tilar Village. Existing 54km to the northwest of Kathmandu, Tilar Village is inhabited by Rai ethnic. Agriculture is the chief occupation. An easy walk of 4hrs will take us to Tilar Village where we will stay overnight.

Day 5: Tilar to Buffalo Camp (Bhainsi Kharka) (2250m)
Follow the ascending trail from Tilar village and walk through the forest area that is rich in birds to reach a Buffalo Camp which is also known as Bhainsi Kharka. We can see local cattle grazing in this meadow of lush green vegetation. Bhainsi means Water buffalo and Kharka is the shed. 

Day 6: Bhainsi Kharka to Baraha Pokhari (3200m)
Leave Bhainsi Kharka and walk through forest area to Baraha Pokhari. Situated in the wild setting and difficult to access, Baraha Pokhari is considered the holy site by Shamans and Hindus. It is considered mandatory to receive blessing from Baraha Pokhari before practicing shamanism. Spend your day around the lake.

Day 7: Baraha Pokhari to Mountain goat Kharka (4200m)
Enjoy the unobstructed views of Annapurna Mountain Range, Manaslu Mountain, Langtang Mountain and Himal Chuli Mountain. Walk from Baraha Pokhari and follow the route for Himal Chuli for brief period before lowering down to the meadow known as Mountain goat kharka.

Day 8: Trek to Kharka (2100m)
After breakfast early in the morning, we will leave Mountain Kharka and take sharp descend to another grazing place called Kharka. We will pass through few dispersed settlement, farm lands and terraces on the way. Arrive at Kharka and prepare the camp for overnight stay.

Day 9: Kharka to Nagdi (915m)
Leave Kharka and follow the lowering trail through terraces, farms and rice fields to Nagdi which is a ridge. Climb to the top of Nagdi and get fascinating views of mountains and sorrounding and set your camp at Nagdi for overnight stay.

Day 10: Ngadi to Nyung (1415m) via Bulbule
Leave Nagdi early in the morning and walk to Bulbule. After having lunch at Bulbule, move through forest area and arrive at river. Crossing the river, follow the ascending trail to Nyung. Prepare a tent and stay overnight at Nyung.  

Day 11: Nyung to Bhujung (1545m) via Ghan Pokhara
After taking breakfast early in the morning, leave Nyung and descend to Ghanpokhara. Ghanpokhara is the Gurung village located in Lamjung district. Move through the scenic Ghan Pokhara village to Bhujung. Located to the west of Marsyangdi River in between Pokhara and Kathmandu, this is a culturally rich village. 

Day 12: Bhujung to Pasgam (1350m)
Leaving Bhujung, we will follow the scenic trail through the subtropical forest of oak and pine. Cross the river at few points and walk through tea houses to Pasgam which is located at 1350m altitude. We will find the clear area and stay overnight at Pasgam.

Day 13: Pasgam to Lamara (985m)
Leave Pasgam early in the morning and take the ascending trail for couple of hours. Later, stop for lunch at the top of forested ridge. Enjoy the unobstructed views of Annapurna Mountain Range and then continue walking through farm land and terraces to Lamara where we will stay overnight.

Day 14: Lamara to Begnas Tal (900m), Drive to Pokhara
Leave Lamara and follow the scenic route through forest area to Begnas Tal of Pokhara. Begnas Lake is the second largest lake in Pokhara after Phewa Lake. Trekking ends at Begnas Lake. Spend some time at the edge of Begnas Lake and drive from Begnas Lake to Pokhara.

Day 15: Drive or Flight to Kathmandu
There are two ways to return to Kathmandu from Pokhara. You can either take 20 minutes of flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu or drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Get transferred to hotel and stay overnight at a hotel.

Day 16: Departure!!!
After last minute preparation, you will be accompanied to Tribhuvan International Airport 3hours before the scheduled flight. Safe Journey!!!
