Day 01: Arrive in TIA, Kathmandu

As you land on Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, you will be received by the representative staff from Himalayan Nepal Trek with a proper greeting. Then, afterward, you will be transferred to hotel where you will learn the detailed itinerary. We can change the set itinerary as per your feasibility. Stay overnight in hotel.

Day 02: Flight to Tumlingtar (410m) 45 min and drive to Kartika Ghat (523m) 1 ½ hrs

On the following day, you will drive to Tribhuvan International Airport to catch the flight to Tumlingtar (410m). During the fight, you can view the mountains and the villages from the height. Within 45 minutes you will arrive at your destination and once you turn up to Tumlingtar you will take another drive heading towards Kartika Gaon situated at 523 meters taking 1 ½ hours. Stay overnight in tented camp.

Day 03: Trek to Ghote Bazar (1,225m) 5-6 hrs

Experiencing the first night in tented camp today you will have breakfast and then set out for the ongoing trek to Gothe Bazar. Gothe Bazar is another target for this day and it is positioned at 1,225 meters. Taking upwards and downward moves you will reach at Gothey within 5 to 6 hours. Stay overnight in a tented camp.

Day 04: Trek to Salpa Phedi (1,651m) 5-6 hrs

On the following day, you will leave Gothey and will set towards Salpa Phedi. Salpa Phedi is positioned at 1,651 meters. Considering the elevation you will not sense any problem with altitude sickness and another important fact is you will stroll only for 5 to 6 hours. You will enjoy the trek with taking photographs. Day 05: Trek to Gurans (3,055m) 5-6 hrs

On the following day, you will head to Guranse which is situated at 3,055 meters and passing the temperate stone trail you can have the delightful ascend all through the forest. Afterward, you will ascend one more time to the forest of Rhododendron, Oak, and Birch. Then, the trail will take you to downward towards Bilbate (2,800m). Walking for nearly 30 minutes will take you to the small stone village called Guranse. Stay overnight in tented camp.

Day 06: Trek via Salpa Pass (3,565m) then Guidel (1,968m) 6-7 hrs

On the following day, you will leave Guranse and start to trek via Salpa Pass which is situated at an elevation of 3,565 meters. Then you will again begin to trek Guidel by taking a downward movement. The entire duration of trek covers 6 to 7 hours of the extensive walk so it is said that you should have the strong stamina to carry out the trek. Stay overnight in tented camp.

Day 07: Rest day

On the very next day, you will use the day as a rest day so you will get to experience new environments along with taking up the most newsworthy surroundings. In addition, you will get time to stretch your muscles as taking rest does not means you have to stay idle. So, you will move out from the camp and will walk around in an innovative atmosphere including the monastery. Stay overnight in tented camp.

Day 08: Trek to Bung Village (1,677m) 3-4 hrs

Taking sufficient rest on this day you will be ready to carry out the trek to Bung Village. Bung Village is a pleasing village where Stay overnight in a tented camp. You will walk through the forest of Rhododendron, Pines, and Oak. On the way to it, you will come across the monastery and old Gompa and huge rocks with engraved Buddhist mantras. The jungle which is occupied with Meadows land, pastureland and millet terraces will take you to Bung Village within 3 to 4 hours. Stay overnight in tented camp.

Day 09: Trek to Khiraule Gumpa (2,693m) 4-5 hrs

On the following day, you will approach to Khiraule Gumpa after accomplishing the trek to Bung Village. From Bung Village you call for to take some uphill then only you will turn up to Guranse. Covering the total altitude of 3,055 meters after walking for 4 to 5 hours you will arrive at your destination where you can view the red Rhododendron welcoming you. Stay overnight in a tented camp.

Day 10: Trek to Chalem Kharka (3,600m) 5-6 hrs

Continuing the trek today you will reach in Chalem Kharka with an elevation of 3,000 meters and you have to stroll for 5 to 6 hours. Chalem Kharka is another Village Development Committee where you will find the native friendlier. So, mounting for a while you will arrive at the pleasing spot. Day 11: Trek to Panch Pokhari (4,070m) 5-6 hrs

Taking 5 to 6 hours of stable mount all the way through rocky hills will take you to Panch Pokhari which means 5 lakes. Day 12: Trek to Mosom Kharka (3,691m) 6-7 hrs

Day 13: Trek to Thangnak (4,356m) 6-7 hrs

On the following day taking an ascend you will move towards Thangnak after you depart from Mosom Kharka and Thangnak is positioned at an elevation of 4,356 meters. Here, you can view the dense forest and chirping of birds which will make you a sense of the exotic nature and you are being the evidence of it. Stay overnight in a tented camp or home stay.

Day 14: Trek to Khare (5,000m) 5-6 hrs

On the following day, you will begin the trek to Khare situated at 5,000 meters. It is supposed to be the Base Camp for that Mera Peak where you will come across numerous tents with some lodges. You will view many clouds with fogs but you don’t need to worry as the temperature is surprisingly mild. Thus, completing 5 to 6 hours you will end the trek. Stay overnight in a tented camp or home stay.

Day 15: Rest day and prepare to climb

On this day you will take some rest and engage yourself in preparing to ascend as you will approach Mera Peak on the next day. You will be using your plastic boots so you should feel comfortable with the things that you will make use of it during the climb. You might encounter Mera Glacier and Mera La so at any cost you will boost yourself in such a way that you can face the challenges. Stay overnight in a tented camp or home stay.

Day 16: Ascend to Mera Base Camp (5,300m) 5 hrs

On the following day, you will leave early for Mera La sometimes the weather may not support you in viewing the pleasant vistas. You will sense speculation of acclimatization. Now, moving ahead you will with clear interlace trail with some crevasses towards Mera La. Taking 5 hours you will complete the ascend to Mera Base Camp situated at 5,300 meters of altitude. Day 17: Ascend to High Camp (5,780m) 3-4 hrs

On the following day, you will head to ascend the High Camp which is positioned at an elevation of 5,780 meters and it only takes 3 to 4 hours. You will spend some time at the camp and get pleasure from the amazing sights. Walking up to the Mera La you can take photographs of the areas in case if you do not get an opportunity to take it on the previous day. Stay overnight in tented camp.

Day 18: Ascend to Mera center summit (6,461m) and back to Khare 8-10 hrs

On the following day, you will ascend the center summit of Mera which is standing at an elevation of 6,461 meters after several days of ascending and a day of preparing an ascend. Then completing ascend you will return to Khare which is another beautiful destination to set out for the trek. Thus, taking 8 to 10 hours of longest duration you will finish the trek and return the camp you will take rest. Stay overnight in tented camp.

Day 19: Free day

As you have accomplished the tricky you will stay idle in the camp. Another reason of this day is in case if you are unable to ascend the Mera Peak due to bad weather this is the day you can use for. The advantage of this day is it will not affect in the planned itinerary. Stay overnight in tented camp.

Day 20: Trek down to Mosom Kharka (3,691m) 6-7 hrs

On the following day, you will trek downward to Mosom Kharka which is positioned at an elevation of 3,691 meters and it consumes 6 to 7 hours of trek duration. Trekking back to Mosom Kharka will help you to spend the additional day and you can use it as a pleasurable trip since you are already familiar with it. Stay overnight in a tented camp or home stay.

Day 21: Trek to Thuli Kharka (4,300m)

Heading ahead from Mosom Kharka on this day you will begin the trek to Thuli Kharka which is situated at the altitude of 4,300 meters. Taking ascend and following the trekking route, you will enjoy the night at Thuli kharka. Stay overnight in a tented camp or home stay.

Day 22: Trek via Zatrwa La Pass (4,610m) and trek down to Lukla (2,840m)

On the following day trekking via Zatrwa La Pass with covering the altitude of 4,610 meters, you will mount it. Then, crossing the pass you will trek down to Lukla the beautiful destination preferred by the trekkers. Lukla is the gateway to Everest so you can take its advantage being in the land of glory. Arriving in Lukla you will check in the hotel. Stay overnight in hotel.

Day 23: Flight to Kathmandu (1,310m) and farewell dinner

In an early morning, you will take a flight to Kathmandu taking 35 minutes from Lukla Airport. This will be the joyous adventurous flight. Arriving in TIA you will be picking up and then again transferred to the hotel where you can enjoy the comfortable bed. In the evening you will return to hotel completing the short sightseeing to take part in farewell dinner. Stay overnight in hotel.

Day 24: Departure!!!!

Spending 24 days on this day you will return your home town. You will be transferred to the airport safely and then depart from us.

AIRPORT PICKUP AND DROP

The representative will be there outside the Terminal Hall with Himalayan Nepal Trek logo along with your name thereon. You’ll then be transferred to your hotel.

TRANSPORTATION

We use a mix of native buses and taxis, non-public mini buses for city sightseeing and airport pickups and generally land cruisers for journeys into the mountains. The selection of auto will depend upon the scale of your group.

ACCOMMODATION

We book a hotel as per your preference but basically, we use 3* standard rooms in Kathmandu and Pokhara. We serve you twin sharing rooms and King bed for a couple. We use Lodges throughout the trek with twin bed room and sharing. 

SAFETY

Safety is our first priority; our team puts best effort to minimize the risk. We take care of any emergency that may occur within the path. First aid kit, oxygen bag and eventually emergency rescue via chopper are always ready just in case of an emergency. Besides we manage threat with rest days and our staffs will be there to advise you.

EQUIPMENT

Weather condition may invite the requirement of some equipment like crampons, trekking poles, raincoat etc. So, we tend to request you to carry only need types of equipment. Down jacket, trouser Ti-shirt, boot, knife, walking steak, lightweight bag, sunglass, gloves, suns cream, warm socks, head light, wind proof jacket etc.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Common to experience some discomfort before you become absolutely acclimatized to the altitude. Most treks are suitable for anyone who is moderately matched. No previous experience is needed. Some cardiovascular physical fitness programs like regular walking, running, swimming and hiking are necessary to increase the performance. Participants with pre-existing medical condition or diseases should look for a medical recommendation before considering a trek.

During the trek, it’s not possible to get a connection every where but there are certain places throughout the trek wherever you get the surplus over internet and telecommunication. We offer you satellite phone as per your preference. You can use our guide cell phone to communicate if you don't have your own number, they welcome you anytime.
