Amadablam Expedition: Not only in the cultural diversity, Nepal is also famous for it geographical diversity. It contains different geographical formation like Terai, Hill, and Mountain. There are lots of mountain peak in Nepal which are famous for base camp trekking to top up summit expedition. We have to pass different geographical climate to be at final destination. One of the interesting peaks in the great Himalayan range that should not be missed while talking about expedition is Mount Ama Dablam. This Mountain stands in the Himalayan range of Nepal touching the sky of eastern Nepal. Geographical formation of this Mountain gives the idea of that mother who is wearing the necklace and protecting her child inside her arms and because of this idea this mountain was given the name as mountain Ama Dablam.
This mountain stands with an elevation of 6,856 meters in the eastern part of south Asian country Nepal at a latitude of 27.861111 and longitude of 86.861111. On the basis of difficulty, it is one of the major mountains. This mountain was first climbed in 1961 and successful climbers were Mike Gill, Bishop, Mike Ward and Wally Romanes. Best season to climb this mountain peak is April, May, September, and October. Our journey to Amadablam Expedition starts from Kathmandu airport being through Namche Bazaar which is a nearest international airport and nearest convenient center respectively. After being to base camp most of the climber start their expedition from the south west ridge. To be in the summit, the climber has to set three high camps at different elevation and distance between all these camps is so difficult and interesting. Because of all these facts and features of Amadablam Expedition is third most popular peak permitted for the expedition.
Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu 1,350m and direct transfer to hotel with Bed & Breakfast plan.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley overnight at a hotel with Bed & Breakfast plan.
Day 03: We will provide trip briefing and permit final equipment preparation overnight at Hotel with Bed & Breakfast plan.
Day 04: Domestic Flight to Lukla 2,828 m. 35 minutes and 3 hours trek to Phakding 2,610m. Overnight at Lodge
Day 05: Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440 m, 6/7 hours overnight at Lodge.
Day 06: Rest day 3,440 m for acclimatization Overnight at Lodge.
Day 07: Trek to Tengboche 3,867m, 5 hours overnight at Lodge.
Day 08: Trek to Pangboche 2 ½ hours overnight at Lodge.
Day 09: We climbs from Pangboche to Ama Dablam Base Camp 4600m 3/4 overnight at Tent.
Day 10: to 21 Climbing periods.
Day 22: Trek Down Namche Bazar 3440m 6/7hours overnight at Lodge.
Day 23: Trek to Lukla 2840m 6/7hours overnight at Lodge.
Day 24: Flight back to Kathmandu 35 minutes, and transfer to hotel with Bed & Break fast Plan.
Day 25: Free day at Kathmandu and evening farewell dinner in typical Nepali culture.
Day 26: Departure from Kathmandu to your onward destination.
